Miss Madson
About
Hi there! It's great to see you stopped by!
My name is Marisa Madson and I'm currently a first grade teacher at Alexandria Central! I graduated in May 2016 with my Bachelors in Childhood/Early Childhood Education with a concentration in math. I also graduated in December of this year with my Masters in Educational Technology Specialist. I'm very excited for this chapter of my life to come to a close and start my next chapter.
Why I chose teaching:
For me teaching wasn't the first profession that I looked at. I actually wanted to become a lawyer and defend children! As time went on though I realized that I wouldn't be able to see children in those hard places, so I decided that I would make a difference in young peoples lives in a different way. That's when I found that I love teaching children and watching them grow. Since that moment I knew what I was destined to be.....a teacher!
Fun Facts:
Before I moved to the North Country I had lived in 6 different states! This gave me so many experiences that I love bringing to the classroom. Students are always shocked when they find out that I've lived in a desert.
